Wonder Book

I love coming to bed and finding one of the children’s wonder books waiting for me.

We take it in turns to write to one another - sometimes funny, sometimes silly and sometimes deeper thoughts and questions which are answered candidly with the time and space that bedtime brings. Over time I’ve posed some questions and they’ve posed some tough ones back. It’s given us great insight and lots of laughs. Tonight I got a word search!

Many friends have followed suit and I’m sometimes asked for inspiration. So here are some questions to store for that night when you’ve got less to say.

When were you last sad and why?

(that one’s turned up some helpful insight)

What’s a smell you love?

Write a poem about a fish

What’s one thing you’ll do differently from us when you’re a parent?

What’s one thing you’ll do the same as us when you’re a parent?

What’s the last dream you can remember?

If you could read 3 of your friends thoughts, what do you think they would be thinking?

Is it time we went for a hot chocolate? - Where shall we go?

Have you ever been in a situation where you didn’t know what to say?

What did it feel like?

What do you wish you had said?

Describe an electronic device of the future.

I’ve been asked some good questions too….

Have you ever punched someone?

What would your one wish be?

If you had enough money to buy your favourite thing, what would it be?

A good reason to shopping for a new notebook!

happy scribbblings
