Eye Tests
Just a quick thought...have you had your child's eyes tested yet? It seems obvious to find a dentist and a doctor, but we don't always think to book the optician.
There have been a couple of clients recently who have come to me about classroom difficulties and I've asked if they've been to the opticians: One of them has needed glasses and it has explained why they'd been struggling in class.
The recommended age for having eyes tested is before they start school. Eyes fully develop by the age of eight, so it's important to get them tested before then to identify any issues. You may be eligible for funding through the NHS. An optician will be able to tell you if you qualify.
Just a thought!
